Unity 4.5 released

including OpenGL ES 3.0, better 2D physics and more

Unity Technologies just released version 4.5 of Unity, their game engine. Besides more than 450 bug fixes, this release also includes the following:

- OpenGL ES 3.0 support, also on iOS
- Improvements for the 2D phpysics system, based on Box2D
- Faster scene loading
- Shader workflow improvements
- Stereoscopic rendering for DirectX 11
- Sparse Textures



There is even more, like the Module Manager, which now allows to ship hotfixes for the mobile platforms, or the possibility to drag 2D rigidbody objects around while being in play mode in the editor.
