Oculus Rift Development Kit 2 announced

including better display and more sensors

Oculus VR, the company behind the upcoming Oculus Rift Virtual Reality headset just announced the second development kit, named DK2.

DK2 is still not the same hardware as the end consumer product, but it already has a low persistence OLED display with a 960×1080 resolution per eye, and an additional headtracking system using a camera. It is still for developers only. The device can be preordered for 350$ and they expect the first devices to be send out in July.
